Livio Gallo (CEO Enel Distribuzione)

Mr. Livio Gallo has been Head of Infrastructure and Networks Division at Enel Spa since 2005. Mr. Gallo serves as Executive Vice President of the Regulated Sales Area and Chief Executive Officer of Enel Distribuzione. He serves as Head of the Infrastructure and Network Division of Enel Distribuzione.

Maher Chebbo (Vice President, Head of EMEA Energy & Natural Resources, SAP)
Maher joined SAP 17 years ago (1996) where he co-founded its Corporate In-Venturing Unit (SAP INSPIRE) in 2003 and where he held various responsibilities as a Regional Business Unit Manager and Director of Innovation.Maher holds an Engineering Degree in Mechanical and Energy. He holds as well a PhD Energy degree from Ecole des Mines de Paris where he is member of the Board (ARMINES).


Nouredine Hadjsaid (Grenoble Institute of Technology)
He is presently a full professor at Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP)  where he teaches at ENSE3 and conducts research at G2ELAB. He is also an invited professor at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech - USA).His main research interests are in the area of “smartgrids”  including distributed generation and distribution power grids, information and communication technologies in power systems and power system security.


Mark F. McGranaghan (VP of Power Delivery and Utilization for EPRI)
He is Vice President of Power Delivery and Utilization for the Electric Power Research Institute(EPRI). He leads the teams responsible for EPRI's research involving technologies, systems, and practices for power delivery systems from the generator to the plug and for the devices and technologies that use the electricity. Mark has been with EPRI since 2003.  Before that he was Vice President at Electrotek Concepts (1998-2003), where he helped develop a new business area around power quality and power system studies. 


Dr.-Ing Manuel Sánchéz Jimenéz  ( Team Leader Smart Grids, European Commission)                 
He joined the Commission in 1996 as a Project Officer for Renewable Energies. During 11 years he coordinated the areas of "Integration of Renewable Energies" and "Smart Energy Networks" and launched the European Technology Platform "Smart Grids" in 2006. From 2007 to 2008 he has set up the sector for "Information and Communication Technologies solutions for Energy Efficiency". Since 2009 he is the Team Leader Smart Grids at Directorate General for Energy.


Laurent Schmitt (VP Smart Grids SolutionsAlstomGrid, France)
He graduated in 1998 from Supelec in France with a degree in Power System Engineering. He started his career in the Power Generation area with ALSTOM on Hydro and Thermal Plant Controls in Northern America. In 2007, he was appointed Director for Strategy at the AREVA T&D Automation Business Unit. In 2008 he was appointed Vice-President for Strategy & Innovation for the Energy Management Business of Alstom Power. Following the integration of AREVA T&D’s activities within Alstom in June 2010, Laurent has joined the new Alstom Grid sector as Vice President for Smart Grid Solutions.


Jens Strüker (Frenesius University of Applied Sciences)
Since 2013:  Professor for Energy Management at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, Managing Director of the Institute of Energy Economics (INEWI)
Since 2012: Lectureship in Energy Informatics at the Albert-Ludwig University Freiburg
Since October 2013: Project leader of iUrban funded by the EU (Optimising Energy Systems in Smart Cities)


David Trebolle Trebolle (Union Fenosa Distribución)
David Trebolle has been working in the UK and Spanish Electrical Sector for the last 12 years and is currently Manager of  “Active Networks, grid control and advance network analysis applications” at Union Fenosa Distribución in Spain. David is an Electrical Engineer (2001), PhD Certificate of Research Aptitude in Electric Power Systems (2007), MSc in Economics and Regulatory Framework of the electrical business (2005) at Pontificia Comillas University and MDP (2008) and LMP at IE Business School (2013).


Marialuisa Villa  (Altroconsumo)
She  is a member of the Public Affairs Department Staff of Altroconsumo. She in charge of the food, health & energy domains, dealing with the main dossiers and related regulatory activities either at Italian and EU level. She takes part in AEEG (Italian NRA) hearings, public consultations and special working groups on topics that more directly affect consumers in energy markets.
